The Institute is currently accepting applications for the winter semester. Please contact Heather Greene at greeneh@musc.edu or 843-792-4429 to receive a password and a link to the application form.

Application Process

1. Applicant demographic information (password required)
2. A 750-word personal statement about why you want to be a fellow in the Institute
3. A two-page curriculum vitae
4. Interview with an IPC faculty member

Student Requirements

The Institute for Primary Care is seeking students who first and foremost have a desire to practice primary care. Students must be enrolled in:

University of South Carolina

• School of Medicine (1st or 2nd year)
• College of Nursing, Advanced Practice Nursing Program (1st or 2nd year)

Medical University of South Carolina

• College of Medicine (1st or 2nd year)
• College of Nursing, Advanced Practice Nursing Program (1st or 2nd year)
• College of Health Professions, Physician Assistant Studies Program (1st year)

Students must commit to participating in the monthly seminars, as well as the annual IPC conference.
